IDR or isolated disc resorption
IDR or isolated disc resorption is an advanced form of DDD where the disc has fully worn away and the vertebra are essentially sitting on top of each other, bone on bone. This situation creates its own set of peculiar symptoms but still may be asymptomatic in many individuals.
