Grade 1 anterolisthesis of L5 on S1 is called a spondylolisthesis. Isthmic can be ruled out if there are no pars fractures. The most common other type of slip at this level is a degenerative spondylolisthesis. This requires at least moderate degenerative facet disease (see website).
Foraminal stenosis can cause leg pain with standing and walking that would be relieved by bending forward or sitting.
Spinal fusion is the typical treatment for this disorder with symptoms that are not tolerable (assuming no motor weakness).
